As I walked along the promenade to the event yesterday I reflected on our efforts to make a network in Brighton we'd like to see. The sea was the calmest I've ever seen, seeming to mirror the calm I felt from the progress we'd made. A mutual friend told us she was 'very proud of us', and that was amazing to hear.
Yesterday's November 23rd Meet 19 at the effortlessly stylish Edendum restaurant-café proved we had yet another fresh influx of associates to introduce to each other, and of course attendees that knew us from before. I'd just like to say thank you to everyone who came, a mix of web designer to business marketer, hypnotherapist, work coach, personal growth coach to remote personal assistant and estate agent, to name a few. Special mention and loud hurrahs must go to Aleksandra Wrzos, who gave us an inspiring and audience-involving talk, a taste of what she does internationally on a regular basis.
Our next gathering will be on Wednesday 25th January 2017 and we've updated our event protocols and all our event details will remain on our business card site, now, eh-hum, we know what we're actually doing. Just to say, if you want to hear the Expert Talk and take part in the Speed Meet you will need to book so we can balance numbers and try and present a mix of different trades or at least make people aware of attendees that may create a conflict of interest.
