Announcing our guest speaker for Weds 29th November

We're excited to announce that this month the Expert Talk at M19 will be given by Clare Goldfinch, who runs the Healthy Body Happy Mind Project in Brighton.

Clare believes that a healthy body and a healthy mind go hand in hand, and neither can really exist without the other: nutrition (and physical exercise) is crucial to keeping the body in full working order, while happiness plays an important role in keeping a healthy mind. The Healthy Body Happy Mind Project is trying to take care of both in unison and Clare runs a variety of workshops on her own subject: nutrition. Besides that, she has taken the lead on collaborations with physical therapist, personal trainers, wellbeing and mindfulness experts, and others to create workshops involving a wider range of influences.

Her background as a school teacher (Modern Languages and Food Technology and Life Skills), university lecturer (English and Spanish) and later retraining and achieving a MSc in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Aberdeen uniquely qualifies her for what she does at the Healthy Body Happy Mind Project.
