Testimonials
"This was probably one of the best business networking events I have been to. Be ready to ditch your fear of the awkward to meet dozens of friendly and supportive human beings. I was there two hours and I came out feeling like part of a new family."
Peru Buesa, Digital Marketing Healer
"The strength of this group is the opportunity to meet with every person in the room and promote your business. I recommend this group if you want to grow your business."
Mark Packwood, Replacement Lightbulb Company
"Loved loved my first meeting. Loved the organisation and a different way of networking. Enjoyed and listened to everyone. I am coming back!"
Tinu David, Beauty Coach
“The format is simple, genial, innovative and invented by smart people who are very well organized. The speed meetings are great. As a coffee shop we also had a chance to host the meetings during the trading time creating an unique atmosphere and experience. Thanks Meet19.”
Diego Cacciolatti, Managing director, Edendum UK
"Meet 19 networking group is such a breath of fresh air when it comes to networking because the format (speed networking with 19 people) causes the atmosphere to be really fun and always seems to create some great business opportunities. I’ve met people who offer marketing, web design, investment, utilities, business consulting and the rest... As a result I’m now working with some amazing and unstoppable clients."
Dan Warburton, Transformational Coach
"Good to meet you guys, I enjoyed the networking session."
Pascal Atkins, Oven Cleaner, Oven Rescue Haywards Heath
"Meet 19 is a surprising discovery both in format and variety of visitors. A very open and direct structure of the event makes it very special and worth attending, the hosts work hard to increase the number of positive interactions between guests."

"The event is great and I really enjoyed it; you can be really proud of yourselves for putting it together so well."

Who we are
We're a Brighton and Hove-based network of established business, startup and local enterprise and charity associates. The network is represented as a free monthly live event backed by a free website and online marketing facilitated, administered and hosted by Tilo Flache and Jonny Wills.
Our regular events in Brighton bring people together to swap contacts, pitches, ideas, leads, discounts and freebies while promoting positive work in the community. As the meet ups are limited to 19 spaces, we do everything by booking through Eventbrite; but tickets are always free (unless of course you don't show without letting us know a good 24 hours before, then we'll ask for a fiver for admin, organisation, booking, promotion and taken spaces).
As well as this triple blogsite, we are linked beyond to social media platforms on LinkedIn for business links, Facebook our community support page and Twitter for announcements and network support.
Why are we doing this?
Like all the other great networks in the area we are here to dovetail and get behind everyone's efforts. We are about making opportunities and attracting more clients while supporting them and the community. These social and business proofs, done free and transparently, hopefully showcase to you some of things we do professionally.

Here are our guidelines for Meet 19 attendees looking to have articles posted and promoted here on this blogsite.
Want to come to an event but aren't sure what it entails?
Here also is a guide to our Speed Meet feature.
What is with the #handhug?
It's our little play on a special business or politician's handshake to let you know we'll do our best. And it's our way of letting people recognise each other without being either too formal or too gushing.
Why are you called Meet 19?
Nineteen is simply the limit for attendance, the number where we feel that meeting anymore people one-to-one (sitting down) would be overwhelming. Because you will get to meet everyone who attends, if say only eight people show you will definitely leave with nine well-introduced leads, (seven others plus the two hosts). The maximum attendance being nineteen will get you twenty contacts or chances to re-pitch if you've met before.
Meeting that many people in a focused environment is lively, potentially lucrative and positive work and as you can tell, we're passionate about the format.
Our USPs
Our original structure for live events feature either an Associate Tips Session or Special Guest Expert Talk plus a uniquely designed Speed Meet both bookended by regular networking, or what we call The Mingle. We ensure everyone gets a chance to pitch to all attendees privately, face to face, making it a more manageable, sociable and prospective environment (see reviews above).
For more details and protocols please check out our business card website meet19.uk. Meanwhile our next Brighton event will be on Wednesday May 30th. We'll be sending out invites to our associates and contacting local businesses. Ticket booking links are now up throughout our sites, usually at the top of the page.
